Statistics
The following are the statistics as of June 6, 2008:

Number of clients, 2464 women and 28 men, who have made the decision to obtain long-term or permanent birth control.

The following numbers were obtained through our Client Survey Form which all participants fill out. These numbers are prior to obtaining long-term birth control through our program:

2,492 - Total number of paid clients.

11,192 - Total number of pregnancies. (Not including miscarriages)

8,121 - Total number of births (some resulted in multiple births).

2,924 - Total number of abortions

450 - Stillborn births. Also, another 193 had very brief lives, dying soon after birth from complications.

4,653- Total number of these children remaining in foster care to date.

1,058 have chosen Depo-Provera, 904 Tubal Ligation, 429 IUD, 38 Norplant, 35 Implanon, and 28 Vasectomies.

1,205 clients have been Caucasian, 714 African-American, 319 Hispanic,and 254 of other ethnic backgrounds.

Paid Clients in the following states:

California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Alaska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, & New Hampshire.

**This is a total of 39 states, plus the District of Columbia.**
